    The engine's minimum idle speed is factory-set and usually not adjustable. If idle issues occur, check the Idle Air Control Valve (ICV), which regulates engine idle speed. The ICV, controlled by voltage pulses from the PCM, is located on the throttle body. If these checks show a problem, replace the ICV.
