    How is the front Drive Shaft reinstalled for the 2011 Ford Ranger? Posted by Cleet C.

    Installation is the reverse of the removal steps with the following additions. Raise the front of the driveshaft into position, ensuring the marks are in alignment. If not, make sure the transmission is still in Neutral, then turn the front wheels to line up the marks. Remove the tape securing the bearing cups and install the straps and bolts. Tighten the bolts to the torque specifications. On 2011 models, tighten the driveshaft-to-transfer case bolts in a crisscross pattern, to the torque specifications.
