    How do you remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid from the EVAP canister for the 2007 Ford Fusion? Posted by Customer

    The EVAP canister vent solenoid is mounted on the EVAP canister. Remove the EVAP canister. Release the two lock tabs and remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid heat shield from the canister by pushing it straight down. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the fuel vapor hose from the vent solenoid. Release the lock tab and detach the vent solenoid and dust separator assembly from the EVAP canister. Installation is the reverse of removal.
