    How should the Air Bag system be disabled on a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria? Posted by Customer

    Turn off all vehicle accessories (radio, AC, etc.).Turn the ignition switch to OFF.Remove the F18 fuse (10 amp) and the F10 fuse (10 amp) from the fuse box under the driver's side of the instrument panel.Turn the ignition switch ON (engine not running) and observe the AIRBAG light for at least 30 seconds. The light should stay ON (no flashing signals).If the airbag indicator does not remain ON, make sure you pulled the correct fuse.Turn the ignition switch OFF, then disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.
