    How do you remove the exterior mirror on the 2012 Ford Fusion? Posted by Customer

    Remove the door trim panel.Remove the bolts securing the door module and set it aside out of the way.Remove the water shield over the mirror attachment nuts.Remove the lower (large) water shield.Remove the door speaker.Remove the front window regulator track bolt located at the 1 o'clock position (driver's door used in this example), then position the window regulator track out of the way.Reach in the speaker opening and lower water shield area to gain access to the mirror electrical connections. Disconnect the electrical connections.Remove the nuts securing the exterior mirror.
