    Engine longevity is only guaranteed through frequent changes of oil. Getting a drain pan, gloves, breaker bar, socket, and filter wrench is very important. The vehicle should be raised up and reached normal temperature. Take off the oil filler cap and let the old oil flow away. Clean the drain plug and put it back correctly. Replace the old filter with a new one. Bring down the car, pour new oil in it, and check for any leaks around it. Dispose of waste oil safely.
