Consider all options for caliper overhaul, such as new or rebuilt calipers. Always replace or rebuild calipers in pairs. Turn off air suspension, loosen lug nuts, raise vehicle, engage parking brake, and remove wheels. If not disconnecting brake hose, do not remove banjo bolt. Wrap plastic bag around hose end to prevent fluid loss. Remove caliper mounting bolts and caliper. Clean caliper with brake system cleaner. Remove dust boot(s) and use compressed air to force piston(s) out. Remove piston seal(s) and clean piston(s) and bore(s). Inspect for defects and replace if necessary. Lubricate new piston seal(s) and install dust boot(s). Lubricate bore(s) and piston(s), insert piston(s) into bore(s), and depress partially with C-clamp. Push piston(s) fully into bore and install anti-rattle clip. Reinstall caliper, connect brake hose with new washers, and tighten banjo bolt. Lower vehicle, reactivate air suspension if applicable, and bleed hydraulic system.
