    On 1995 and newer models, start by loosening the screw-type grip or locking clamp on the filter holder. Then release the two clamps on the filter base. On the 5.0L V8 engine, loosen the single circular clamp on the air cleaner housing. After removing the old air filter from its housing, you can clean the housing with a slightly wet cloth before putting in your new filter element. Assembly is the reverse of the removal procedure.
