    What precautions should be taken before removing the A/C Compressor and condenser for the 2004 Ford Focus? Posted by Customer
    A:
    The condenser should be discharged and recovered at a service department or repair facility. After that, disconnect the negative battery cable and raise the front of the vehicle. Remove the radiator undershield and unbolt the refrigerant lines from the condenser. Then, remove the bolts from the radiator support bracket and disengage the condenser upper mountings. Unclip the condenser from the radiator and remove it.
