Lincoln Town Car Seat Belt

The first line of defense in the event of a collision or a sudden stop is the Lincoln Town Car Seat Belt. The three-point configuration that links lap and shoulder webbing to spread impact forces across the chest, pelvis, and shoulders has been applied by every Lincoln flagship since the original days and is believed to outperform the lap-only straps that were applied on large sedans in the 1950s. An emergency locking retractor is fitted to each front Seat Belt and activates within milliseconds.
