    Q: What is the purpose and components of the EGR system and EGR Valve for the Lincoln Navigator?
    A: The EGR system reduces NOx emissions by recirculating exhaust gases into the intake manifold, with the flow rate given by the Differential Pressure Feedback (DPFE) system. This system includes the EGR valve, vacuum regulator, DPFE sensor, PCM, EGR pipe, and vacuum and pressure lines. Issues can be diagnosed using trouble codes. Excessive flow causes rough running or stalling and insufficient flow leads to high combustion temperatures.
