Next, disconnect the trunk lid actuator cable from the trunk lid key lock cylinder, followed by disconnecting the electrical connector from the lock cylinder. Drill out the two rivets securing the lock cylinder and remove it. The installation process is the reverse of removal. For the latch, again remove the trunk lid trim panel and disconnect the actuator cable from the trunk lid lock cylinder. Then, disconnect the electrical connector from the trunk lid latch, remove the latch mounting nuts, and take out the latch. The installation follows the reverse order of removal.
