Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. For 2010 and earlier models, use a plastic trim tool to pry the lower trim panel/control assembly from its retaining clips. Disconnect the electrical connectors at the module. Remove the A/C Switch retaining screws on the back of the panel. Installation is the reverse of removal. For 2011 and 2012 models, remove the center trim panel. Remove the A/C Switch mounting screws and remove the module from the back side of the center trim panel. Installation is the reverse of removal. For 2013 and later models, note that the audio, navigation and A/C Switch controls have been integrated into one unit called the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM); if there is a problem, the entire module must be replaced. Remove the shifter trim then remove the floor console outer trim. Using a plastic trim tool carefully pry the center trim out from around the FCIM. Remove the module mounting screws and pull the FCIM forward. Disconnect the electrical connectors to the FCIM and remove the module from the instrument panel. Installation is the reverse of removal.
