Sunroofs are not available on all models. To remove the glass panel, slide back the sun blind and set the glass panel in the tilt position, then remove the four securing screws, two per side. Lift up or remove the antenna, then lift the sunroof glass panel out from the vehicle. For the sun blind, first remove the glass panel, then wind the roof opening mechanism to the rear, ensuring the glass panel guides do not disengage from the guide rails. Undo and remove the 16 screws from around the sun blind panel and slide the sun blind out from the guide rails, taking care not to disturb the cable guides and keeping dirt out of the cable mechanism. Installation is a reversal of removal, and lubricate the cables and guides during assembly. The sunroof should operate freely without sticking or binding when opened and closed, and when closed, the panel should be flush with the surrounding roof panel. If adjustment is needed, slide back the sun blind while keeping the glass panel closed, loosen the rear securing screws to adjust the glass panel up or down for flush alignment at the back edge with the roof panel, then loosen the front securing screws for the same adjustment at the front edge. Retighten the four securing screws and check the roof seal for wind noise and water leaks. There are four drain tubes, one in each corner of the sunroof opening; the front drain tubes go down the front A-pillars, requiring the removal of the lower trim panel and electrical junction box or PCM for access, while the rear drain tubes go down the C-pillars, necessitating the removal of the rear side trims for access.
