How to replace the hub and wheel bearing assembly on a Ford F-150?

To replace a defective hub or wheel bearing, first apply the parking brake and loosen the wheel lug nuts and the spindle nut (2WD) or driveaxle/hub nut (4WD). Raise the vehicle and support it on jackstands. Remove the wheel, brake caliper, brake disc, and wheel speed sensor. On 4WD models, remove the hub mounting bolts and driveaxle/hub nut, pushing the driveaxle through the hub splines. Use a puller if the driveaxle sticks. Be careful not to overextend the inner CV joint. Reinstall by reversing the process, ensuring to tighten all bolts and nuts. Lubricate the bearing race when installing the brake disc on 2WD models if needed.
