How to remove the grille assembly on Ford Expedition?

This procedure applies to Pickup and Expedition models only. Begin by opening the hood and removing the plastic trim panel covering the top of the grille assembly. For 2004 and earlier models, detach the headlight housing assemblies and remove them from the vehicle; for 2005 and later models, remove the front bumper cover. Next, remove the grille retaining screws located in the headlight openings, and for 2005 and later Expedition/Navigator models, also remove the screws securing the grille to the bumper cover and then remove the clips. After that, detach the clips securing the lower half of the grille. Finally, detach the screws securing the upper half of the radiator grille and remove the grille from the vehicle. Installation is the reverse of removal.
