How do you remove and install the console on Ford Expedition?

Disconnect the negative battery cable followed by the positive battery cable and wait two minutes before proceeding. Lift the mat from the floor of the spare change compartment and remove the retaining screw beneath it. Open the console glove box, detach the retaining screw, and then remove the spare change/drink holder trim bezel. Detach the retaining screws securing the front half of the console, using a plastic trim tool to lift the rear edge of the shifter surround panel and remove it. On the outside at the rear of the floor console, pry out the trim caps if equipped and remove the screws securing the rear of the console. For later models, use a plastic trim tool to pry off the console side panels. Disconnect any electrical connections and remove the console from the vehicle, with installation being the reverse of removal.

Q: How do you remove and install the console on Ford Expedition?

On the outside at the rear of the floor console, pry out the trim caps if equipped and remove the screws securing the rear of the console. For later models, use a plastic trim tool to pry off the console side panels. Disconnect any electrical connections and remove the console from the vehicle, with installation being the reverse of removal.
