Ford Escape Horn

The Ford Escape Horn is the compact SUV's way of talking to the motorists and pedestrians who are nearby. Horns are made to make a loud noise that has been designated for use on pitch-dark roads and near possible hazards. Since the beginning of Ford Escape generations, the device has always had the same goal, which is to provide a loud, audible alert that helps make traffic interactions predictable by enhancing lights and brakes.     Q: How to remove and install the horn on a Ford Escape?
    A:
    Loosen the left front wheel lug nuts. Raise the vehicle and secure it on jackstands. Remove the left front wheel. Remove the front bumper cover. Disconnect the electrical connector from the horn. To remove the horn, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the mounting nut. Remove the horn mounting nut and separate the horn from its mounting bracket. Installation is the reverse of removal.
