How to remove and install the instrument cluster on 2012 Ford Fusion?

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Release the tilt wheel lever and lower the steering wheel to its lowest position. Remove the instrument cluster trim panel. Remove the instrument cluster mounting screws, noting that 2006 through 2009 models have two screws, 2010 through 2012 models have three screws, and 2013 and later models have four screws. Carefully pull out the instrument cluster from the instrument panel and disconnect the electrical connectors. Installation is the reverse of removal.
