    How to remove and install a Windshield Wiper Motor in a Lincoln Town Car? Posted by Tommi A.
    A:
    First unplug the wiring from the battery's negative end. Pull back the rear hood seal weatherstripping and unclip each wiper housing holder with a tiny screwdriver. Before 1998 models, start by removing the cover plates from above. Remove the Windshield Wiper Motor retaining bolts. Take off both pieces - the clip holding the motor to the wiper and the metal arm connecting the motor and wiper together - using a small tool to loosen the clip. Unplug the power wire and take out the Windshield Wiper Motor from its spot. Installation is the reverse of removal.
