To remove and install the tie-rod, loosen the castle nut, separate the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle, and remove the nut. Replace the tie-rod end if necessary, mark the location of the threaded end, and unscrew the tie-rod end. Remove the cotter pin and loosen the nut securing the inner tie-rod end to the center link. Separate the tie-rod from the center link and remove the old nut. Lubricate the threaded portion of the tie-rod and screw the new tie-rod end into the adjuster sleeve. Connect the tie-rod end to the steering knuckle, tighten the nut, and install a new cotter pin. Insert the tie-rod ballstud into the center link, install a new nut, and tighten it. Tighten the clamp nuts and install the wheel.
