    Disconnect the negative battery terminal and remove the engine cover. The CMP sensors are at the top corners of the valve cover. Disconnect the sensor connector and remove the sensor by removing the bolt. Check the CMP sensor O-ring and replace if needed and lubricate it with engine oil. Installation is the reverse of removal.
