    A:
    To remove the fuel pump module, the fuel system pressure must be relieved and the negative battery cable disconnected. The fuel tank is then removed, followed by the removal of the pump module lock ring. The fuel pump module is carefully pulled out of the tank to disconnect the fuel vapor hose quick-connect fitting.
