    If equipped, to replace the EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid, you need to follow these steps. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Disconnect the electrical connector and vacuum hoses from the solenoid. Remove the nuts securing the solenoid. Remove the solenoid. Installation is the reverse of removal.
