    For 2014 and earlier models, you need to remove the turbocharger heat shield, disconnect the coolant and oil lines, vacuum lines, and electrical connectors to the turbocharger. Detach the coolant lines, remove the oil drain tube, and then remove the turbocharger mounting nuts to carefully maneuver it out of the vehicle. Finally, use a stud removal tool to remove the turbocharger studs from the cylinder head.
