Ford F57Z-9E469-B Tube - EGR Valve To Exhaust Manifld

The EGR system reduces NOx emissions by recirculating exhaust gases into the intake manifold, lowering combustion temperature. To replace the EGR valve, disconnect the battery cable, remove the air cleaner outlet tube, vacuum hose, and exhaust manifold tube. Unbolt the valve, replace the gasket, and clean the manifold surfaces before reinstalling. For EGR tube replacement, remove the valve, disconnect fittings, remove and reinstall the tube. To replace the EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid or Differential Pressure Feedback Sensor, disconnect the battery, detach retainers, disconnect connections, remove bolts, and reinstall in reverse. Note: 2002 and later 3.0L engines do not have EGR valves.
