    First of all, the cooling system should be drained. Then, you can disconnect the coolant reservoir's upper and lower hoses, together with the coolant reservoir bolts on both sides and the upper hose. To prevent leakage, plug the hoses. By using soapy water and a brush, clean out any deposits inside the tank. Carefully examine the reservoir for cracks. If it has a crack on it, change it. The installation is in reversed order of removal.
