Ford F1LY-5310-A Front Spring

To remove front Coil Spring on most models, excluding 1982-87 Continentals and 1984-92 Mark Vlls, raise the vehicle, remove wheels, shock absorber, and center link. Use a spring compressor to compress the spring and detach the lower control arm from the frame. For installation, secure the upper insulator on the spring with tape, position the spring on the lower control arm, align it with frame bolt holes, and loosely install pivot bolts. Reattach the center link, shock absorber, and stabilizer bar (pre-1992), install wheels, lower the vehicle, and tighten lug nuts.
