Ford DT4Z-18808-C Speaker Assembly

The radio consists of the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) and the Audio Control Module (ACM). The FCIM is the controls you see in the center trim panel, while the ACM is a separate component in the dash behind the FCIM.

Open the floor console storage armrest, then use a plastic trim tool to disengage the retaining clips around the perimeter of the shift console/cup holder trim panel and remove the panel. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the shift console.Disengage the storage bin edge trim fasteners using a plastic trim tool and remove the trim pieces along the edges of the storage compartment bin and FCIM.Remove the storage compartment fasteners, then pull the storage compartment out from the floor console and disconnect any electrical connectors.Remove the gear shift module (GSM) console frame fasteners and remove the console frame assembly from the top of the center console. Disconnect any electrical connectors.Using a plastic trim tool, pry out the instrument panel center vents from each side of the FCIM.Remove the FCIM retaining screws at the bottom of the module. Using a plastic trim tool, start at the bottom of the panel and work your way around to the top, disengaging the retaining clips.Remove the FCIM from the instrument panel.
