Ford YS4Z-9034-AA Fuel Filler Pipe

To remove the fuel filler hose assembly, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable and equalizing tank pressure by removing the fuel filler cap. Chock the front wheels and jack up the rear of the car, supporting it on axle stands. Remove the right-hand rear wheel if desired. Release and remove the fasteners securing the right-hand rear fenderwell liner, then maneuver the liner out from the fenderwell. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the filler hose and vent hose from the fuel tank, taking note of the clip positions for replacement. Avoid using sharp tools to pry the hoses from the tank fittings to prevent damage. Remove the two bolts securing the filler hose and maneuver it out from under the fenderwell. Check the condition of the filler hose, replacing if necessary. To reinstall, follow the reverse of the removal process and tighten the rear cross member bolts to the specified torque. Note that the filler hose assembly must be replaced as a unit, as the rubber hose portion cannot be replaced separately.
