    How to remove and install a power car mirror on a Ford Thunderbird? Posted by Customer

    On power mirror models, disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the door trim panel. Pry off the mirror access hole cover using a screwdriver to pry the access cover off. Remove the three nuts and detach the mirror from the door. The mirror is held in place by three nuts. On power models, unplug the electrical connector. Installation is the reverse of removal.
