Ford 5E6Z-78219A65-AB Latch

Raise the window. Remove the door trim panel and watershield. Inside the door, remove the door latch assembly screw and the door handle cover from the exterior of the door. Carefully slide the door handle toward the rear of the vehicle. Remove the rubber insulators and release the clip to position the interior door handle aside. Remove the door latch screws and disconnect the door latch electrical connector. Slide the door latch remote control assembly toward the front of the vehicle. Remove the anti-theft guard and disconnect the exterior door handle actuating rod. The installation process is the reverse of removal.
