    How often should the Door Hinge, Door Latch, Door Lock, Hood Hinge, Hood Latch and Trunk Latch be lubricated on Ford Mustang? Posted by Lionel E.

    At every 3000 miles of operation or each 3 months or as indicated in the service calendar, several drops of light oil or lock lubricant applied at the hinges and latch assemblies of the doors, hood, and trunk. Furthermore, the door latch strikers should be lubricated with a thin coat of grease to reduce wear and at the same time to ensure ease in operation. For the door and trunk locks, it advised to spray on the graphite lubricant at the locks area with the car.
