    Approximately every 2500 miles of travel or once every 3 months the hinges and latch assembly on the doors, the hood and the tailgate must be treated to a couple of drops of light oil or lock lubricating oil. Also the door latch strikers ought to be greased with a very thin layer of grease so as to lessen the amount of wear and to facilitate the opening of the door. The door locks are best lubricated using the spray-on graphite.
