To remove the mirror, you have to unbolt the negative battery terminal if it is electric mirrors that are involved. The next is to free the quarter bezel between the front of the window opening the and pull it off. Manual mirrors: Cavity in the lower left corner allows to turn the rubber boot counter-clockwise to release the adjustment lever from the mirror bezel. For electric mirrors remove the wiring multi plug from the mirror control switch and unlock it, disconnect the electrical connection to expose the retaining bolt. Remove mirror mounting bolt and take out the mirror of the outer portion of the door while making sure of regaining the mirror seal as the wiring or cable is pulled through the rubber grommet. To actually remove the mirror glass, it is slid from inside outwards to release the retaining bracket and the glass is then pulled out along with the wiring connectors to the heated mirrors. The process of installation is the same as removal only a little carefully to ensure that the rubber grommet is not dropped inside the door panel because to retrieve it one has to remove the interior door trim.
