Reinstall any surrounding trim or panels that were removed and ensure all clips and screws are returned to their original locations. 7. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect the negative battery cable and follow any vehicle-specific post-disconnection procedures. 8. Close the hood and perform a functional check of any related systems (active grille shutter operation, lights, hood alignment) and a short low-speed drive to confirm there are no rattles or interference.
