    What are the steps for disconnecting various cables, including the A/C Switch, from the control assembly during removal for the 2001 Ford Ranger? Posted by Luther M.
    A:
    Use a small screwdriver to remove the vacuum harness from the vacuum switch on the side of the control assembly. At the back of the control assembly, disconnect the temperature and function cable from the white control bracket.
