    How is the removal process continued for the A/C Compressor, including dealing with refrigerant lines and the compressor manifold on the 2007 Ford Ranger? Posted by Customer

    Remove the drive belt and the bolt securing the refrigerant lines to the rear of the compressor. Plug the open fittings to prevent dirt and moisture entry. On 2011 models, remove the compressor manifold bolts and the manifold and tube from the compressor. On 2011 4.0L V6 models, removing the inner fenderwell liner may be necessary.
