For vehicles from 2010 and earlier, begin by unbolting and removing the fog light brackets from the bumper if equipped. Support the bumper using a jack and a block of wood, then remove the mounting nuts on each side to detach the bumper. Next, take out the screws and pushpins to detach the valance panel from the bumper, and for installation, reverse the removal steps while ensuring all fasteners are tightened securely. For 2011 models, the bumper and bumper covers must be removed as a single assembly. If fog lights are present, disconnect their electrical connectors. Remove the nuts to take off the front bumper and bumper cover together. The lower bumper cover is secured with clips, which need to be detached; if replacing it, also remove the fog lights from the cover. The upper bumper cover is held in place with plastic rivets, which should be driven out with a punch for removal. For installation, reverse the steps and tighten the bumper fasteners to 41 ft-lbs.
