How to remove and replace Brake Light Switch?

To disconnect the negative battery cable, begin by removing the electrical wires from the switch located above the brake pedal near the pivot. Then, unclip the pushrod retainer and slide the switch, nylon washers, and pushrod away from the pedal. Next, slide the switch off the bracket. Finally, refit the brake light switch. Installation is the reverse of removal.
