Mercury Grand Marquis Transmission Sensor

Mercury Grand Marquis Transmission Sensor gives precise shift data that keeps the full-size sedan gliding down the road with confidence. The advanced Transmission Sensor system collects data on the input and output speeds, the fluid temperature, and the gear position in milliseconds. It then sends this information to the powertrain computer for processing. This ensures a smooth upshift and an instant response in every downshift. According to owners of Mercury sedans, the Transmission Sensor system prevents stress on your gearbox, prolonging the life of your vehicle. On a clean 2000 Grand Marquis or a later 2011 Grand Marquis, the Transmission Sensor does the same thing, but with newer thermistors and magnetic pickups that cut delays and introduce savings.
