To get to the bumper you must first unbolt the plastic bumper cover or fascia normally there are 4 fasteners or more beneath the car near the radiator several fasteners in the fender well on each side you can get to them after you remove cornering lamps. Rear bumper covers are attached via fasteners at the base of the structure seen from below, screws within fenderwell, and nuts within the trunk that are visible once the most rear trunk interior trim is removed. Subsequently, you should remove any wire connection or some part that will hinder the removal of the bumper and then place a jack or jack stand beneath to support the bumper. Next, you undo the two bolts or nuts that hold the bumper in place to be able to take it off.
