To remove the regulator motor on 2015 and later models, first take off the door trim panel, then disconnect the electrical connector from the regulator motor. Secure the window in place with tape, remove the three mounting screws, and take out the motor. For the regulator module assembly, again remove the door trim panel and the front door speaker. Take out the access hole cover plugs, lower the window glass to access the glass clamp bolts, loosen them without removing, and secure the window with tape. Lower the window regulator mechanism until it stops at the bottom of the tracks, then disconnect all electrical wiring harness connectors and clips, including the power mirror connector and the harness connection to the A-pillar, while removing the harness grommet retaining bolts. Through the speaker hole, disengage the retaining clip attaching the harness to the door, and feed the harness between the weather strip and the door. Remove the door latch, outside
Door Handle, lock cylinder, and keyless entry pad if equipped, then loosen the exterior door handle reinforcement screw. Finally, remove the regulator module assembly mounting bolts and take the module out of the door. If the door window regulator motor is broken or disconnected, it must be removed and the window glass moved manually. Installation is the reverse of removal, and de-initialization/initialization procedures should be performed.
