How do you remove and reinstall the windshield wiper motor and link assembly on Ford Mustang?

Pry off the trim caps from the windshield wiper arm retaining nuts and remove the windshield wiper arm nuts. Before removing the wiper arms, put a piece of tape on the windshield to mark the position of the outer end of each wiper arm for reassembly, then remove the wiper arms. Next, remove the left and right cowl covers, followed by the windshield wiper motor and link assembly mounting bolts. Turn the wiper motor and link assembly over to disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor by depressing the release tab and pulling off the connector. Detach the windshield wiper linkage arms from the wiper motor crank arm by prying them off the pin on the end of the crank arm, then remove the crank arm retaining nut and the crank arm itself. Remove the three wiper mounting bolts to take the motor from its mounting bracket. For installation, reverse the removal steps, ensuring to align the wiper blades with the tape marks before pushing them onto their shafts.
