Pry out the gear selector trim bezel using a trim stick, being careful as the process for 2010 and earlier models is shown, with later models being similar; for vehicles with manual transmissions, unscrew the shift lever knob to remove the trim bezel. Apply the parking brake, remove the two center console trim panel mounting screws, and then take out the trim panel, noting that on 2011 and later models, the console center trim panel is held only by clips and must be pried up with a plastic trim tool. Detach the retaining screws that secure the front half of the console, then carefully detach the center console side trim panels. In the console glove box, remove the center console rear retaining screws by first taking out the pad at the bottom of the glove box and then removing the fasteners. Lift the console up and over the shift lever, disconnect any electrical connections, and remove the console from the vehicle. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
