How to remove the antenna on Ford Focus?

To remove the antenna mast, unscrew it from the base from outside. For 2007 and earlier models, pry out the interior light and take out the two retaining screws from the light bezel, then unscrew the retaining screw from the base of the antenna, disconnect the antenna lead, and remove the base and gasket from outside. For 2008 and later models, on two-door models, remove both C-pillar trim panels, and on four-door models, remove both rear quarter trim panels. Open the coat hanger covers, insert a flat-blade screwdriver with a 3/16-inch tip into the slot, twist the screwdriver a quarter turn to spread the retaining clip, and then remove the garment hangers. Pull the rear of the headliner down enough to access the antenna bolt and remove it, then disconnect the wiring and take out the antenna base. Installation is the reverse of the removal process.
