How do you remove and install the window regulator on Ford Expedition?

Remove the door trim panel and the plastic watershield. Next, take out the window glass assembly. For power-operated windows, disconnect the electrical connector from the window regulator motor, and for 2007 and later Expedition/Navigator models, disconnect the impact sensor harness. Remove the equalizer arm bracket and the regulator retaining rivets by detaching the window equalizer arm bracket retaining nuts and drilling out the rivets securing the window regulator to the door frame. Pull the equalizer arm and regulator assemblies through the service hole in the door frame to remove them. Installation is the reverse of removal. For 2007 and later models (LF and RF), the regulator/motor must be initialized if it has been removed from the vehicle. To initialize the motor, turn the ignition key to On, hold the one-touch window switch Down button for two seconds after the glass is fully in the Down position, wait three seconds, and then press the one-touch Up button, holding it for two seconds after the glass reaches the full Up position.
