How to remove and install side view Mirror on Ford Excursion?

Remove the mirror trim cover above the front of the door panel. For models with electric mirrors, take off the door trim panel and the walershield. Follow the harness to disconnect the electrical connector from the mirror. Remove the dust shield and rubber plugs for access, then take out the mirror retaining nuts and detach the mirror from the vehicle. Installation is the reverse of removal.
