What precautions should be taken when removing or installing heavy and awkward bumpers on Ford Excursion?

Introduce the application of the parking brake, then lift the vehicle and ensure it is supported by two jack stands. When replacing the front bumper, you should have to get under the car, and unbend all the fog light electrical connections if it is available. There are bolts located at the rear side of the bumper that hold the bumper brackets to the frame rail and after removing these bolts the bumper can be readily taken off the vehicle.
