What is the importance of oil and Filter maintenance in Ford Fusion care?

The oil maintenance is very important in taking care of your vehicle. The oil should be changed every 1,500 miles even if the oil life indicator says differently. To get ready, collect tools and rags and lift the car up for easy access. Do this only when the engine is slightly hot, but be careful about the exhaust being hot too. Park on a flat surface, take off the oil filler cap, and drain it into a pan. Clean and put back the drain plug; then take out and substitute the oil filter. The next step is to lower the vehicle, pour in new oil, and run the engine to see if it leaks anywhere.
